Here is a collection of written pieces which include poems, narrative and philosophical revelations.
Just Who The Hell I Think I Are
Here in I present the collected Me
in my most natural state: Bits and Pieces.
It includes some of the stuff I finished
and a lot of the stuff I did not.....
(Fragments gathered in the blind trust that
even if I never got it right
perhaps I didn't get it wrong
and the most telling truth lies in the gaps and garble.)
Whether working with clay or found artifacts, Penelope brings a humor and sense of originality to all of her work.
Born September 16th, 1939 in the San Francisco, Bay Area, Penelope Rogers is a self-taught artist who brought her imaginative and inspired impressions to a great body of work.
The mother of 6 children, she struck a balance in the chaos and inspiration that was reverberating throughout the world during the vivid and tumultuous era in which she brought her ideas into form. While drawn to the ideas of Buckminster Fuller, Marshall McLuhan, Ramdass, Philip K. Dick and many others, her artistic style is uniquely her own.
